WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

One Line World was set up for several reasons. But it would be faintly bizarre for you to care what they were.

It's not a joke site. These are real reviews, by real professional videogame journalists, based on really playing
the games, which is more than you can expect from some print magazines and gaming websites these days.

The purpose of One Line World is to save you wasting your time and money, by cutting straight to the chase.

And because we don't like having our time wasted either, there are certain things that we won't put up with.
Because life's too short to spend irreplaceable hours of it digging for something good that shouldn't have
been buried in the first place, because some cretin of a designer doesn't know how to do his job properly.

- FPS games without proper customisable controls.

- "action" games with compulsory tutorial sections hours long.

- RPGs that aren't any fun until you've levelled up for a month.

- driving games that need days of practice just to go in a straight line.

- any game that thinks it's a fucking film.

Etc. Such games will get short shrift here. If you like those sorts of games, you'll be happier someplace else.

A game's either worth buying or it isn't, and you should be able to figure out which from the words. So no scores.
